What a start to the summer! On April 30, we officially launched the Aunt Millie’s Closer to Home Road Show - a season-long tour celebrating our 125 years of fresh baked goodness!

Our food truck spent May burning up the interstate, serving hundreds of smiles, coupons, and full plates to families, sports fans, and shoppers. If you haven't caught us yet, don't worry! The tour is spending the whole summer cruising through Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, Ohio, and Kentucky.

Here is a quick look at the road we traveled during our action-packed first month:

Month One Route & Highlights

• Derby Fever & Ohio Staples (Early May): We launched in Eastgate, Ohio, before diving into the electric energy of the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs. We also helped families celebrate Mother's Day weekend at Remke Markets and Sam’s Club in Cincinnati, stopped by the Kroger Queen City LPGA Championship, and hit both legendary Jungle Jim’s locations to pair their famous local deli salads with our Bakehouse rolls.
• Hoosier Hospitality & High-Octane Racing (Mid-May): After a cookout at Wyatt’s (Falmouth, KY) and a UFL Louisville Kings tailgate, we rolled into Indiana. We celebrated the Muncie Pay Less (Kroger) Re-Grand Opening on McGalliard Road, visited Brownsburg and Indianapolis, and capped it off by fueling thousands of race fans on race day at the iconic Indy 500.
• Michigan Takeovers (Late May): To wrap up the month, the food truck headed north to the Great Lakes State. We had an absolute blast hosting massive crowds at Quality Dairy locations in greater Lansing and Grand Ledge, before finishing May strong at the Capital City Market in downtown Lansing.

• Aunt Millie's Bakehouse Brioche & Buns: Piled high with pulled pork, chicken salad, and juicy burgers.
• Texas Toast: Thick-cut and perfect for gooey grilled cheese and fresh French toast.
• Bakehouse English Muffins & Rolls: Feeding the morning crowds with breakfast sandwiches and savory brats.
